For Cisco, ISE focused on how they are transforming the workplace with AI-powered devices, connected intelligence, and an open ecosystem that elevates employee experiences. Staying updated with Cisco’s latest innovations is vital for us as a Preferred Partner, so we headed to booth 2K500 to meet Stuart Willis and explore the newest tools enhancing workplace collaboration.
Cisco Room Kit Pro G2: Powering the Next Generation of High-Impact Spaces
With a long-standing track record of delivering collaboration solutions into high impact and complex spaces, the Cisco Room Kit Pro G2 was a must see for our installation teams.
Representing a significant evolution in Cisco’s integrator portfolio, the Room Kit Pro G2 has been re-engineered to meet the demands of today’s AI-enabled, IP-centric meeting spaces. At its core, the device introduces a new Nvidia-based architecture, dramatically increasing processing power to support advanced AI capabilities at the edge. The intelligent multi-camera director dynamically adapts to the flow of conversation, delivering a more natural and consistent experience for remote participants, while enhanced AI noise removal and AI notetaker ensure everyone can focus on the conversation.
From an infrastructure perspective, it marks a clear shift toward AV over IP. Offering eight PoE ports, high-bandwidth network expansion and native IP connectivity, it is well suited to large, complex environments including boardrooms, auditoriums and divisible spaces. By supporting multi-camera configurations, large-format displays and professional audio natively, the platform will enable Cinos to deliver complex deployments with reduced reliance on custom programming. Furthermore, retained analogue connectivity ensures a smooth transition from existing systems to more future-ready deployments for our customer base.
Aligning with the growing demand for enterprise-standardised and secure collaboration environments, the Room Kit Pro G2 is the first large-room integrator device certified for MDEP, further strengthening its position within enterprise estates. It represents a compelling addition to the portfolio and one we see delivering real value across complex, high-impact spaces for our clients.
Cisco Desk Pro G2: Reimaged beyond personal spaces
ISE also marked the launch of Cisco’s Desk Pro G2, a solution reimagined as more than a premium personal device. Once ideally suited to executive desks and home offices, it now confidently supports focus rooms and compact huddle environments, delivering capabilities traditionally associated with larger room systems in a streamlined, all-in-one format.
Redesigned from the ground up, the Desk Pro G2 introduces a new dual-camera system with a significantly wider field of view, enabling more intelligent framing and improved participant coverage. Its enhanced processing architecture allows the device to dynamically adapt to different room scenarios, whether accommodating an individual user or a small group, while MDEP certification further reinforces its suitability for secure, enterprise-standardised deployments.
It was great seeing the Desk Pro G2 first-hand at the show. It represents an elegant and powerful solution that will become a great option for hybrid collaboration in our clients’ smaller meeting spaces.
Cisco Wireless Phone 9821: Mobilising the frontline workforce
Cisco’s final product announcement at ISE was the Wireless Phone 9821, a solution created for frontline workers where critical communications must be reliable and efficient. Utilising Wi-Fi 6E, it delivers ultra-low latency for interference-free communication in challenging environments. Seamless integration with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Webex Calling provides robust business calling for both on-premise and cloud infrastructures while simplifying deployment for IT teams.
With features such as AI-powered notetaking and noise cancellation, the 9821 allows users to capture and share information effortlessly. Its configurable action button suits a wide range of organisational needs, with one press for actions such as emergency alerts, access to IT support, organisation-wide broadcasts and highly customised workflows. After the product demonstration it was clear that the 9821 is a solution that aligns closely with Cinos’ approach to frontline technology. With a broad customer base in healthcare, it serves as a key extension for NHS teams, while also providing practical value for warehouse staff and manufacturing teams across the commercial sector.
Cisco RoomOS 26, Control Hub and Workplace Designer
Away from product releases, the latest software developments across Cisco’s collaboration portfolio became a part of every conversation. The launch of RoomOS 26 and ongoing development of Control Hub brings Cisco’s ‘Connected Intelligence’ to the fore, repositioning collaboration technology as a dynamic, AI-powered layer that amplifies human capability. It’s about devices and platforms that don’t just connect people, they connect insights, automate tasks, and enable teams to work smarter, wherever they are. Alongside this, Workplace Designer has introduced deeper integration with Advisor and Control Hub, creating a more connected workflow between room visualisation, planning, deployment and ongoing management.

Visiting Cisco at ISE was refreshing. It was great to see solutions that aren’t just impressive on paper, but immediately actionable for real-world deployments.
